01 What does Cityside do, construction or real estate?
Both, and that’s the point. We build and renovate high-end homes, develop our own projects, and sell through a William Raveis brokerage arm. One team can carry a property across its whole life, instead of handing you between a contractor and an agent who never talk.
02 What kind of construction projects does Cityside take on?
The larger, more involved end. Whole-home and gut renovations, ground-up custom homes and multi-family, and select commercial work across Boston and the surrounding towns. The projects that need a builder who has solved the hard problems before.
03 Does Cityside do custom work?
Yes, custom is most of what we do. Ground-up custom homes and additions, plus the custom cabinetry, built-ins, millwork, and detailing that set a high-end renovation apart. We build to your design, or bring in an architect and designer when you need one.
04 Can Cityside help me rent or lease a property?
Yes. Through William Raveis, we handle rentals and leasing across Boston and the surrounding towns, for owners with a property to fill and for tenants looking in the right buildings. If you own and want it positioned to rent or lease well, we can advise on the work that gets it there.
05 Can Cityside help me buy, sell, or invest, not just build?
Yes. Through William Raveis, and as members of the Greater Boston and Massachusetts Associations of Realtors, we advise owners and investors across Boston and the surrounding towns, with a builder’s read on what a property needs and what it’s worth. That’s most valuable before you buy something that needs work, or before you list.
06 Does Cityside develop its own projects?
Yes. We underwrite, build, and sell our own deals, from value-add multi-family to ground-up development. It’s also how we partner with investors who want a builder and an operator on the same side of the table.
07 What makes Cityside different from a typical contractor?
We understand the money side, not just the build. Because we develop and broker real estate too, we price off what construction actually costs, and we’ll tell you when a project isn’t worth doing. You also work directly with the people running your build.

We stay accountable end to end, a scope and budget you approve before we start, and daily reporting so nothing catches you off guard. We plan the permits, the long-lead items, and the site access before demo, not on the fly.
